Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru produces Sian Summer's new play about betrayal, loyalty and becoming a man

Sian Summers’ new play, Pan Oedd Y Byd yn Fach, (When the World Was Small) – about the 1984 Miners’ Strike – has been given the green light for production by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru (Welsh-language National Theatre of Wales). Sian is Senior Lecturer in Scriptwriting in FCI. The play will be produced in May 2015, and is a Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru commission

The play, directed by Aled Pedrick, will open at the Gwyn Hall, Neath and will then tour to other theatres in Wales during May and June including Sherman Theatre, Taliesin, Mwldan, Lyric, Y Stiwt and Galeri, with full dates to be announced soon.
